Mr. Luckett is the firm’s practicing attorney and has over 26 years of experience in Criminal Litigation. Mr. Luckett practices in Ohio’s courts of Common Pleas, local Municipal and Mayor’s courts as well as in Ohio’s Federal District courts. Prior to entering private practice, Ermel worked with the Franklin County Prosecutor’s office for several years, and was the head of the department’s drug unit. This experience provided specific insight into the evaluation of the strength of the State’s case against a Defendant. Mr. Luckett primarily focuses his practice on upper level criminal offenses. Mr. Luckett has extensive experience in Felony and Federal courts. Personal background
Ermel is a native of Athens County, Ohio. He attended Miami University in Oxford , Ohio, where he was fortunate enough to meet his wife Jenny. Upon graduation, the couple moved to Cleveland where Ermel began Law School at Case Western Reserve University obtaining his Juris Doctorate in 1988. Following graduation, the Luckett’s moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1989 to begin his position with the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office. Ermel and his wife of over 30 years have maintained their residence in Franklin County and have two grown sons.
